Sisters Play It Forward Tournament Cancellation

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the inaugural Sisters Play It Forward 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament scheduled for July 25.
​
Unfortunately, registration did not reach the level needed to provide the tournament experience we envisioned for our players, sponsors, volunteers, and community. In addition, the emergence of new wildfires near Sisters has created uncertainty surrounding smoke and air quality, along with potential health concerns for athletes, spectators, volunteers, and those with respiratory sensitivities.
This was not an easy decision. So many people have given their time, energy, resources, and encouragement to help bring this event to life. We are incredibly grateful to every team that registered, every sponsor who believed in the mission, and every volunteer and community member who offered their support.
Sisters Play It Forward was created to bring people together, celebrate basketball, and give back to local youth athletics. Although the tournament will not happen this year, we remain proud of that mission and hopeful about what may be possible in the future.
Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your belief in this event. Please continue to keep our firefighters, first responders, affected families, and the entire Sisters community in your thoughts.

The Tournament
The Sisters Play it Forward 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament takes place in the beautiful town of Sisters, Oregon. This single-day tournament is our inaugural event with the intent to repeat annually. Our goal is to support and give back to the Sisters community. Attendees can enjoy food and beverages from local businesses as well as play and watch participants vie for prizes and bragging rights.

All participants will receive a tournament t-shirt. Prizes: second-place winners will receive a medallion for each team player, and first-place winners will win a champion medallion and a $20 gift certificate for each team member. ​
All 2026 proceeds will go to the Sisters Youth Athletics. For more information about the fund, please reach out.​
Entry Rules
All players must register & sign a waiver
All players must be 8 years or older (based on age on day of event).​
Waivers: You must have a waiver form for each player. It is advisable to fill out waivers online before the event. If not, you must sign a waiver during check on game day in order to be eligible to play. If players are under 18 years old, their parent or guardian must sign their waiver.
​Proof of Age: Youth Players (ages 8-17) will need to provide proof of age (birth certificate, passport, driver's or state license, or show us their school parent portal via a web browser) for each player by uploading the documents here, or at registration check-in. Failure to do so will forfeit games until compliance is met. A date of birth must be visible. We will not accept a child's school grade as proof. Please forward link to participant parents as needed.
Play Up Waiver: To be signed by a parent or guardian if your child (8-17) will be playing up in an older bracket.
